Manual lamination

Manual lamination

It is a classic method of manually laying where the gel coat is applied to a cleaned mould. Individual layers of glass reinforcement are gradually applied to the polymerized gel coat, which are then soaked in resin. This method is suitable for complexly shaped products and for prototyping or small batch orders. The advantage of this technology is the undemanding investment in terms of the price of production equipment.

Characteristic properties of laminates:

  • specific properties of the product in relation to the structure and materials used
  • variability in shape and size,
  • strength and firmness of the finished product,
  • resistance against mechanical and chemical wear,
  • thermal non-conductivity,
  • shape stability,
  • hygienic,
  • any colour attainable by engraining the top laminate layer or by painting the finished part
