Products for cars include for example fibreglass superstructure
for Excelsion EVO2. This superstructure is made from high-quality
composite materials, which ensure its solidity, shape stability
and corrosion proofness.
The fibreglass spoiler for Excelsion EVO2 car
is made of the same material as the superstructure. No intervention
in the car body is required to install the spoiler, which
is sealed using special cement along its circumference.
Thermoplastic
products in the automotive industry
Vacuum forming is a heat treatment technology
of thermoplastics. The manufacturing process is based on clamping
the plastic sheet or foil in a frame of a vacuum press. The
sheet is heated up to the forming temperature and after removing
the heating plates formed by means of vacuum.
Plates and foils made of ABS copolymer, polyethylene, polycarbonate,
polymethylmethacrylate, polypropylene (also reinforced by glass
or fillers) and polyvinyl chloride can be used to manufacture
parts using the vacuum forming technology.
